By level of care

Several clinics, several billing entities, one tenant.

Groups and certified community behavioral health clinics run multiple sites, multiple levels of care, and often multiple tax IDs, while reporting quality measures and coordinating with partner organizations. That is a permissions and reporting problem before it is a clinical one.

What this level of care needs

8 things, and most platforms give you three.

The right-hand column is what an outpatient-built system typically offers for this level of care. It is not a criticism of those products — they were designed for a different job.

What it costs

A 48-seat multi-site group.

Support staff are not priced like clinicians. Admin and billing seats are $60, student interns are $25, and everyone counts toward the band that sets the clinical rate.

Illustrative. Your mix will differ, and metered add-ons — SMS, e-prescribing, eFax, the training library — are billed separately. Every rate above is published on the pricing page.

The problem is separation, not scale

Running four clinics in one system is easy. Keeping their staff, patients, claims and reporting properly separated while still seeing the group as a whole is the part that is hard.

The fastest way to test whether that describes your program is an hour with your own workflows rather than a feature list.

Questions

Common questions.

Can one tenant hold multiple sites and multiple billing entities?

Yes. Separate tax IDs, NPIs and payer enrollments live in a single tenant, spanning mixed levels of care — outpatient, PHP, IOP, residential and MAT — under one roof, which is what a group or CCBHC needs before any clinical feature.

How are staff and patients kept separate across sites?

Permissions are scoped by site, so a clinician at one clinic does not browse another’s census, while roll-up and per-site reporting still show the same measure by clinic, by program, and across the whole group.

Can Unisona Health report CCBHC quality measures?

Yes. The measures are produced as reports from the data the platform already captures, so screenings, encounters and outcomes are recorded once in the course of care rather than reassembled by hand at reporting time.

Does it support CCBHC PPS billing?

No. Billing is fee-for-service and per-diem, including UB-04 facility billing, rather than CCBHC prospective payment system bundles. If your clinic bills a daily or monthly PPS rate, raise it early in an evaluation: separate tax IDs, NPIs and payer enrollments are supported in one tenant, but PPS bundle logic is not.

How do we coordinate with designated collaborating organizations?

Referrals out to partner organizations and the services those partners deliver are recorded against the client record, so care delivered outside your own sites is visible on the same chart your clinicians and reports read from.

How is screening kept consistent across sites?

Screening and assessment run from the same library of 24 standardized instruments wherever the client is seen, scored automatically and trended against the client’s baseline, so a measure means the same thing at every clinic in the group.

Is there API and FHIR access for reporting and health information exchange?

Yes. A REST API and a FHIR R4 endpoint are switched on by your administrator in Settings, for health information exchange and state reporting partners, alongside quality-measure reporting from data captured once.
